I've Gone Berzerk for Chaos!

There's an awful lot of blue and green in my Alpha Legion army, so I thought a little Blood Red might spice things up a bit. I've always been a little jealous of the simple tactics employed by Khorne players; and although I'm sure they would try to convince you that there's strategy involved with Berzerkers, my feeling is that all you really have to do is point them in one direction and say, "Chop!" Ahh, my Chaos army is almost complete...

Crushy, Stabby Fun

With the arrival of the new Chaos Codex, I thought it appropriate to celebrate with the acquisition of the mighty Daemon Prince. As the leader of my Alpha Legion army, this close combat monster is painted to resemble a green dragon in power armor. Most of my HQ models have some sort of trophy on the base; in this case an unfortunate Dark Angel has met a quick and merciless death. Kill! Maim! Burn!

In the Grim Darkness of the Far Future...

Blown 2 Smithereens has made a major decision and taken a momentous step. This blog will now be dedicated entirely to Warhammer 40k! For the most part, it will be a self indulgent excuse to take pictures of miniatures I have painted. I should be ashamed, but heck, I spend too much time painting these things as it is, so I have to do something with them, right?

I'd love to get feedback from anyone with painting or modeling tips. And if you've got a cool army or model posted, please let me know. I love admiring other people's awesome creations too!

New Post

Exciting news for all my avid readers! I've decided to add a post. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to say...

I HAVE added some pictures though... am I a lucky guy or what? A beautiful wife and a perfect child. Life couldn't be much better.

I'm sure I'll blog more in eight more months. I'm sure it'll be hard to wait, but it will definitely be worth it.

This is my first blog posting, and depending if I ever feel like logging in to this thing again, it may be my last. But who can resist putting a bunch of personal junk up on the internet and seeing if anyone stumbles across it and decides to waste precious seconds of their life reading it?

Things you may expect to find in this blog in the future include: a kid nicknamed Ja-ja-ja G U-NIT, Judge Dredd (drokk it!), Metallica, COBRA!, and Warhammer 40k (nerds gotta have hobbies too). Maybe I'll include something of substance and meaning too...ha, yeah, right, whatever.
